This session explores what 'good maths teaching' looks like, how to foster it and develop it across a team of teachers with varying experience. Aidan will dive into how you might best utilise existing 'lesson drop-in' or 'observation' systems and how to effectively design your own in order to aid concistently goof maths teaching across your maths classrooms.

We have all faced the battle of asking our colleagues to 'do something' or agreeing a policy at a department meeting only to find that it is not happening in practice. This session explores the tools that Heads of Department have at their disposal to get people on board with change that you are trying to implement.
