La Salle Associates carry out two key functions for Complete Mathematics:
the production of high quality materials for mathematics teaching and learning
working across the country delivering high quality mathematics CPD days for primary, secondary and FE colleagues
We are now expanding our team of associates and invite expressions of interest from high calibre mathematics educators who can create expert materials or who can consistently deliver thought provoking, challenging, evidence informed CPD for schools and colleges in a range of contexts. In addition, our Associates work in schools and colleges providing support to subject leaders and their teams to improve teaching and learning onsite.
Applicants will have a proven track record in providing such services for regional or national organisations.
Our associate team is drawn from a wide range of independent freelancers, school and college secondments and income-generating HEIs. Applications are welcome from appropriately qualified individuals and institutions to provide the services.
La Salle Associates are highly experienced mathematics educators and teacher educators. A committment to ongoing, sustained, high quality CPD is a must. You should understand the challenges that schools and colleges are facing and be able to design and deliver high impact professional learning.
As per standard industry practice, associates are paid on a competitive per diem rate of £300 for delivery and £100 to attend training for their own development. Freelancers and limited companies must make their own arrangements to ensure compliance with IR35. VAT will be paid where applicable.
Associates commit to varying levels of work in the academic year - from associates who work with us 3 days per week to those who supply around 10 days per year. A typical associate can expect to recieve 50 - 100 billable days per year.
La Salle Associates report directly to our Mathematics Leads, with their activities coordinated by the central La Salle team.
