What is a TeachMeet?

TeachMeet events are informal opportunities for teachers to meet and share ideas.

With a choice of 2 or 7 minute presentation slots, those attending can volunteer a quick input on something related to maths education, or just come along to listen to other colleagues.

There will then be some networking time with drinks and nibbles, giving everyone the chance to get to know teachers from other schools.

Teachers from primary, secondary, FE and beyond are all welcome.

Would you like to host an event?

Our TeachMeet events are about the power of collaboration. We believe we are better when we come together and help each other. In this spirit, our local events are hosted by volunteer schools. If you would like to host an event, please get in touch.

Hosting an event requires:

A room that fits 15-20 people
Ideas to share for 2 or 7 minutes
A projector and screen or interactive white board.
If you can stretch to it, some tea, coffee and biscuits (we can help with costs if needed)
Your support and liaison up to and throughout the event
Energy and a willingness to share your expertise
